12 ft pole with a 90 dgree angle. measures 60 degrees x should be 30. Not sure if correct. Please assist me. Thank you.

How far is the tip of the shadow from the top of the pole?
You are looking at a 30:60:90 right triangle with the side opposite the 60 degree angle being 12 feet.
Sine is opposite/hypoteneuse
