Without a second variable the equation says that y = a number which is the equation of a horizontal line:
y+=+%281%2F3%29sin%28pi%2F2-pi%29
y+=+%281%2F3%29sin%28-pi%2F2%29
y+=+%281%2F3%29%28-1%29
y+=+-1%2F3
This is not a periodic function so it has no period.
