You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Add
(3x^2-5xy+y^2)+(-8x^2-2xy-y^2)+(x^2+xy-8Y^2)
:
remove the brackets and you have
3x^2-5xy+y^2-8x^2-2xy-y^2+x^2+xy-8Y^2
:
Group like terms
3x^2 - 8x^2 + x^2 + y^2 - y^2 - 8y^2 - 5xy - 2xy + xy
:
combine like terms
-4x^2 - y^2 - 6xy
or
-4x^2 - 6xy - y^2; is the standard form
