---
Job takes 10*15 = 150 man-days
5 full-time painters can do 5x man-days of the job
5 (1/2)-time painters can do (5/2)x man-days of the job
-----------------
Equation:
5x + (5/2)x = 150 man-days
(15/2)x = 150 man-days
x = 300/15 = 20 days total time to do the job

Simplest way:

The 5 workers working half days is the same as 2.5 workers working full days,
so it's the same as having 7.5 workers.

Since 7.5 workers is exactly half of 15 workers, it will take them twice as
long as it takes 15 workers, or 20 days.
