SOLUTION: y=√(x+4). find the x and y intercept, make a table of values, and sketch the graph. I tried it and i got 2 as y intercept, but i don't know how to get the x intercept.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! equation is y = sqrt(x+4)
y intercept is the value of y when x is equal to 0.
when x is equal to 0, the equation becomes y = sqrt(4) which is equal to 2.
you got that part right.
x intercept is the value of x when y is equal to 0.
your equation becomes:
0 = sqrt(x+4)
square both sides of this equation to get:
0 = x+4
subtract 4 from both sides of this equation to get:
-4 = x
this is the same as:
x = -4
graph of your equation looks like this:"
