This one has me stumpted! Could someone explain?
A cyclindrical aquarium is designed with a base diameter of 5 feet and a height of 6 feet. If 3.14 is used for pie, what is the approximate volume of the aquarium to the nearest cubic foot.
----------------------
V = (Area of base)*(height)
V = (3.14*2.5^2)*6
V = 3.14*6.25*6
V is approximately 118 cubic ft.

Hi,

cyclindrical aquarium is designed with a base diameter of 5 feet and a height of 6 feet.
V = pi%2Ar%5E2h+=+3.14%2A%282.5%29%5E2%2A6 = 118 ft^3, rounded to the nearest whole number
