Question 612944: I'm trying to teach myself logarithms and I am having trouble with this problem and would really appreciate it if you could help:
Just in case I didn't enter that right, the problem is: The natural logarithm of (x-2) = 3 and I need to solve for x. I have tried changing the problem into log ( e , x ) / log ( e , -2 ) = 3(log ( e , -2 ) but I'm pretty sure that's wrong. I don't really know what to do. Thanks.
