In a cube the length, width, and height are all the same. The volume of the cube is the product of the 3 dimensions, or L%5E3.
If the length of a side of the cube = 3 then the volume = 3%5E3+=+3%2A3%2A3+=+27.

V =l*w*h
V = 3 cm * 3 cm * 3 cm
V = 27 cm3
