I am really needing for you to show all work and your answers so that I can better grasp the concepts.
The volume in cubic feet of a workshop's storage chest is expressed as the
product of its three dimensions- V(x)=x^3-3x^2-x+3. The depth is x+1. 1)Find the
linear expressions with integer coefficients for the other dimensions, 2)the
depth of the chest is 6 feet what are the other dimensions?
Again please show the work along with the answers so that I can better grasp the concepts!

Use polynomial long division to divide by

If you don't recall how to do polynomial long division, review the two pages of information starting at Purple Math Polynomial Long Division

Once you have completed the division, you will have a quadratic trinomial quotient. Factor it. The two integer coefficient factors will be the other two dimensions in terms of .

You are then given that the depth is 6, so that means . Solve for , then substitute that value back into each of the linear factors you derived above.
