You can put this solution on YOUR website!
think "difference of squares"
36y^2 – z^2
can be rewritten as:
(6y)^2 – z^2 (now, it is a difference of squares)
factoring:
(6y-z)(6y+z)

Factoring the difference of 2 squares is something you will need to be able to do. Those type of problems come up a lot
In general a%5E2+-+b%5E2+=+%28a-b%29%28a%2Bb%29
36y%5E2+-+z%5E2 is a difference of 2 squares. Where one term is 6y and the other is z

36y%5E2+-+z%5E2
%286y+-+z%29%286y+%2B+z%29
there you go
Often you will be given term that are higher order, for example 16x%5E4+-+81y%5E4
%284x%5E2+-+9y%5E2%29%284x%5E2+%2B+9y%5E2%29
And you can see that first term is still a difference of 2 squares so it can be factored again. So keep your eye open for that
