You can put this solution on YOUR website! Given x^ (-2)- 9x^ (-1) +18=0

Multiply the above equation by x^2, we get

 x^2 * x^(-2) – 9x^(-1)* x^(2) + 18 x^2 = 0

1 – 9x + 18 x^2 = 0

Rewrite the above equation, we get

18x^2 – 9x + 1 = 0

This is the quadratic equation, we get

18x^2 – 6x – 3x +1 = 0

6x (3x -1) – 1(3x +1) = 0

(6x -1) (3x -1) = 0

(6x -1) = 0 or (3x -1) = 0

6x = 1 or 3x = 1

x = (1/6) or x = (1/3)

Therefore the value of “x” is (1/6) or (1/3)
