Question 610218: I have a homework problem that I can't figure out! Any help with it would be great. The question is "A company sold 75 units of product last month. This month they sold 101 units. What was the percent increase of product sold, relative to the original amount?"
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Percent Increase = [(New - Old)/Old] * 100
Percent Increase = [(101-75)/75] * 100
Percent Increase = [26/75] * 100
Percent Increase = 0.346666666666667 * 100
Percent Increase = 34.6666666666667%
