You can put this solution on YOUR website!
John works at a bike shop.
He can put together 8 bikes in 6 hours.
At this rate, how long will it take to put together 5 bikes?
:
Let x = hrs to put together 5 bikes
:
5%2F8 = x%2F6
Cross multiply
8x = 5*6
8x = 30
x = 30/8
x = 3.75 hrs or 3hrs 45min, to put together 5 bikes
