5x^2+2x-1=0 using the quadratic equation we get
x=(-b+-sqrt[b^2-4ac])/2a
x=(-2+-sqrt[4-4*5*-1])/2*5
x=(-2+-sqrt[4+20])/10
x=(-2+-sqrt24)/10
x=(-2+-4.9)/10
x=(-2+4.9/10
x=2.9/10
x=.29 solution
x=(-2-4.9)/10
x=-6.9/10
x=-.69 solution
