You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3%5Ex=0.4
natLog both sides of the equation
natlog3%5Ex=natlog0.4
natlog3%5Ex can be written as x%2Anatlog3
thus divide both sides by natlog3
x=natlog0.4%2Fnatlog3
x=-0.834
This would be the same with any base log.
natlog = log base e
