You can put this solution on YOUR website! My child is having trouble in algebra 2. She got her progress report today and
has a 68. For the last couple of weeks she says they have been doing word
problems and she says she does not get it at all. She says she also does not
get the inequalities, the teacher gives 5 different ways to do the problem and
when she did the test she says he said she chose the wrong method? As a parent
what do I do?

Post problems on here, stating the exact instructions, and we'll try to
help. If the instructions say to use one method and the student uses
another, then even if the correct answer is arrived at, the problem is
still wrong! Following instructions is extremely important. Also.
learning different methods of solving the same problem is also important
because there are some problems that can only be solved by one method and
others similar to it that can only be solved by another. There is a lot
more to mathematics than just getting the right answer.
