Question 607435: PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
each of the following functions is invertible. Find the inverse function of f^-1(x). Give the domain of the inverse function.
a) f(X)=3x+4 b)f(x)=square root of x-4 c) f(x)=1/x-2, x>2
im not sure if i did it right!!!
I got for a) x-4/3 and domain (-infinite, infinite)
b) x^2+4 and domain (-infinite, infinite)
c) i do not know

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find the inverse function of f^-1(x). Give the domain of the inverse function.
a) f(X)=3x+4
f^-1(x) = (x-4)/3
Domain: All Real Numbers.
===================================
b)f(x)=square root of x-4
f^-1(x) = (x+4)^2 where x >=0
Domain: All Real Numbers >= 0
-----------------------------------
c) f(x)=1/x-2, x>2
x = 1/(y-2)
y-2 = 1/x
f^-1(x) = (1/x)+2
Domain: All Real Numbers except x = 0
====================
