Question 607114: What is the nth rule for 0,1%2F4,2%2F5,3%2F6?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
0,1%2F4,2%2F5,3%2F6

List the terms and the values for n:

n nth term
1 0
2 1%2F4
3 2%2F5
4 3%2F6

Notice that in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th terms, the numerator
is 1 less than the value of n, and the denominator is 2
more than the value of n.

That will also be the case with the first term if
we consider the 0 as 0%2F3

1 0%2F3
2 1%2F4
3 2%2F5
4 3%2F6

So the fifth term is 4%2F7. Therefore, the rule is

nth term = %28n-1%29%2F%28n%2B2%29
