You can put this solution on YOUR website! You said 27 more apples than oranges? OK. Watch. Let's use the variable "f" for the equation.
Depends on which way you want it, but... i will do this way:
(f)<---oranges + (f+27)=301.
(f) + (f+27)=301
2f + 27=301. Subtract 27 both sides.
2f=274. Divide 2 on each side.
f=137. WAIT.This F is for solving the ORANGES. YOU MUST add the 27 (since there are 27 more apples) So, APPLE=137+27, which is 164.
