You can put this solution on YOUR website! Well, i will give a short answer (thankfully). Yes it is. From equation y=mx+b, m=slope and b=the y-intercept. in this question y=2x, there is no y-intercept so you assume that the y-intercept is zero or origin because you can add zero to anything.
