Simplify the above equation, we get
15 x + 24 = 80 + 24 x – 2
Now get all the numbers to one side, we get
24 + 2 – 80 = 24 x – 15 x
- 54 = 9x
Divide by 9 in the above equation, we get
(-54 / 9) = x
-6 = x
On solving the above equation, we get
x = -6
