y = -x + 2
This is the intercept mathod.
Let x=0 and y=?
y=-(0)+2
y=2 Plot (0,2) This is the y-intercept.
Let y=0 and x=?
0=-x+2
-2=-x+2-2
-2=-x
-(-2)=-(-x)
2=x Plot (2,0) This is the x-intercept.
Connect the points and you have this line.
