You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
(x+y)=1
y= 1-x
/2
Find the roots of the equation by quadratic formula
a= 1 , b= -1 , c= -8
b^2-4ac= 1 + 32
b^2-4ac= 33
x1=( 1 + 5.74 )/ 2
x1= 3.37
x2=( 1 -5.74 ) / 2
x2= -2.37
When x= 3.37 y = -2.37
When x= -2.37 y=3.37
