Question 600327: X+2=xx+y. I need to decide if it is an ellipse, parabola, hyperbola, or a circle. Once I decide I need to put into the right equation and be able to graph it.

y = -x^2+x+2
x^2-x = -y+2
x^2-x++(1/4) = -y+(9/4)
(x-(1/2))^2 = -(y-(9/4))
Vertex at ((1/2),(9/4))
4p = -1
p = -1/4

Focus: (1/2),[(9/4)-(1/4)] = ((1/2),2)
