g(x)=In(x-4)
g(t)=log(t+2) Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! g(x) = In(x-4)
to solve, g(x) = 0
ln(x-4) = 0
The exponent equiv of logs
x - 4 = e^0
We know that any number with a 0 exponent is equal to 1, therefore:
x - 4 = 1
x = 1 + 4
x = 5
Check this on your calc; enter ln(5-4) results 0
:
g(t) = log(t+2)
g(t) = 0
log(t+2) = 0
exponent equiv of logs
t + 2 = 10^0
t + 2 = 1
t = 1 - 2
t = -1
Check on your calc: enter log(-1+2), results: 0
