 r = 0.616, n = 25
 When I completed the question, I got Critical values: r = ±0.396, no significant linear correlation but the correct answer is Critical values: r = ±0.396, significant linear correlation.  So how do you determine if its a linear correlation?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! You need to know exactly what r represents. Remember if |r| approaches 1, your data becomes more and more correlated. Since r = 0.616, which is greater in absolute value than the critical r value, you would say that your data is significantly correlated.
