You can put this solution on YOUR website!
+-6x+-+17+%3E=+8x+%2B+25+
Add +6x+ to both sides
+-17+%3E=+14x+%2B+25+
Subtract +25+ from both sides
+-42+%3E=+14x+
Divide both sides by +14+
+-3+%3E=+x+
State it from right to left
+x+%3C=+-3+
-------------
check:
Make +x+ a little smaller than +-3+
+x+=+-3.1+
+-6x+-+17+%3E=+8x+%2B+25+
+-6%2A%28-3.1%29+-+17+%3E=+8%2A%28-3.1%29+%2B+25+
+18.6+-+17+%3E=+-24.8+%2B+25+
+1.6+%3E=+.2+
Now +x+=+-3+
+-6%2A3+-+17+%3E=+8%2A%28-3%29+%2B+25+
+18+-+17+%3E=+-24+%2B+25+
+1+%3E=+1+
OK
