Find m∠A if m∠B = 137° and ∠A and ∠B are supplementary.

Since they are supplementary that means

m∠A + m∠B = 180°    definition of supplementary angles.

m∠A + 137° = 180°    Substituting 137° for m∠A

Subtract 137° from both sides:

       m∠A = 43°
