You can put this solution on YOUR website! Tell wheather the given value of the varible is a solution of the equation. -2(3x+7)=-3(2x+8);x=-5.
 Let x=-5 and see if both sides equal, if they do, it's a solution, if not, it's not:
 -2(3(-5)+7)=-3(2(-5)+8)?
 -2(-15+7)=-3(-10+8)  ?
 -2(-8)=-3(-2) ?
 16=6 ????
 No, -5 is NOT a solultion!!!
 Happy Calculating!!!
