You can put this solution on YOUR website! In Advanced Word 45 students earned an A on the test, 30 students earned a B, 10 students earned a C, and 6 students earned a D. If 4% of the students earned an F on the test, how many students earned an F? What percent earned A?
----------
Let "x" be the number in the class.
96% of (x)=(45+30+10+6)
x=91/0.96
x=95 (number of students in the class).
---------------
Number who received F = 4% of 95= 4
Percent who received an A = 45/95=0.47%
---------
