Let the angles be x and y.then x+y=180.but x is 5 more than 6 times y.that is x=5+6y.substitute this value of x in the first equation to get y.you have 5+6y+y=180.then 7y+5=180.then 7y=180-5=175.that is 7y=175 .divide both side by 7.therefore, y=25.which is the value of the small angle.
