Hi, there--
One example that comes to mind right away is comparing cell phone texting plans. A customer can decide which plan is a better deal based on the number of texts they expect to send.
.
People use inequalities when they decide which item to purchase on sale. For example, two shirts are on sale at Old Navy; one is 20% off, the other is buy one-get one free. Which is the least expensive?

Hope this helps. Feel free to email me if you have questions about this.
