You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for x.
3%2Fx-2%2F%28x%2B1%29=2
The LCD is x(x+1) the values that x can't be are 0,-1 because denominators are not allowed to equal 0. Multiply all terms by the LCD to clear the fractions.
3x%28x%2B1%29%2Fx-2x%28x%2B1%29%2F%28x%2B1%29=2x%28x%2B1%29

3x%2B3-2x=2x%5E2%2B2x
x%2B3=2x%5E2%2B2x
-x%2Bx%2B3=2x%5E2%2B2x-x
3=2x%5E2%2Bx
3-3=2x%5E2%2Bx-3
0=2x%5E2%2Bx-3 Factor
0=%282x%2B3%29%28x-1%29 Set each parentheses equal to 0 and solve for x:
2x+3=0 and x-1=0
2x+3-3=0-3 and x-1+1=0+1
2x=-3 and x=1
2x/2=-3/2 and x=1
x=-3/2 and x=1
Happy Calculating!!!
