I know I'm supposed to add 25y to each side but I can't seem to get it to work out to what they say the answer is. Please help? Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 30x-25y=25
6x=5y+5
I got as far as
30x-25y=25
30x= 25y+25 --> 30x-25y = 25 same as the other equation.
--------------
It's the same equation twice --> dependent, no unique solution, an infinite # of solutions.
