The surface area of the box consists of 6 rectangles, two that are 5 by 4, two that are 5 by 6, and two that are 4 by 6.  Compute the area of each of the six rectangles and add them up to get the total surface area.
 
 
The volume of a rectanglular prism is found by multiplying the length times the width times the height.
