24a-22=-4%2B24a Distribute.


24a=-4%2B24a%2B22 Add 22 to both sides.


24a-24a=-4%2B22 Subtract 24a from both sides.


0a=-4%2B22 Combine like terms on the left side.


0a=18 Combine like terms on the right side.


0=18 Simplify.


Since this equation is never true for any a value, this means that there are no solutions.
