You can put this solution on YOUR website!

5x%5E3-15x%5E2-4x%2B12 Start with the given expression

%285x%5E3-15x%5E2%29%2B%28-4x%2B12%29 Group the terms in two pairs

5x%5E2%28x-3%29-4%28x-3%29 Factor out the GCF 5x%5E2 out of the first group. Factor out the GCF -4 out of the second group

%285x%5E2-4%29%28x-3%29 Since we have the common term x-3, we can combine like terms

So 5x%5E3-15x%5E2-4x%2B12 factors to %285x%5E2-4%29%28x-3%29

In other words, 5x%5E3-15x%5E2-4x%2B12=%285x%5E2-4%29%28x-3%29 for all values of x.
