Question 590826: Hi, I've been stuck on this problem for a long time now, and now I'm seeking for help to solve it.
Assuming ABCD is a parallelogram, find x and y if:
AB= 2x, BC= 3y+8, CD= 7x-25, AD= 5y-10
I only know how to solve these types of equations, as long as the perimeter is included. But since it isn't in this case, I'm really stumped.
Thanks for your help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hint: With ANY parallelogram, the opposite sides are equal.

So this means that AB = CD and BC = AD

Which further means that 2x = 7x - 25 and 3y+8 = 5y-10
