Question 590818: I am having a problem with getting to the final answer. I seem to have the set up correct but as soon as I go to solve I have it wrong.
m= (fraction 3/4),(6,-6)
its a y-y1=m (x-x1) set up.
I get that its
3-(-6)=3/4(4-6)
3y=3/4-2
y=3/4x-5
Once I get here I lose it.
I thoght it was -5x4+3 all over 4. It just keeps not working. Can you please tell me where I am going wrong?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y-y%5B1%5D+=+m%28x-x%5B1%5D%29

y-%28-6%29+=+%283%2F4%29%28x-6%29

y%2B6+=+%283%2F4%29%28x-6%29

y%2B6+=+%283%2F4%29%28x%29%2B%283%2F4%29%28-6%29

y%2B6+=+%283%2F4%29x-18%2F4

y%2B6+=+%283%2F4%29x-9%2F2

y+=+%283%2F4%29x-9%2F2-6

y+=+%283%2F4%29x-21%2F2

So the equation of the line is y+=+expr%283%2F4%29x-21%2F2
