Question 590068: How would I calculate the probability of getting a number that is greater than 4, on a single roll of a six-sided die? What would be the exact Formula To use?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! No formula needed. Except the definition for probability, (# of successful outcomes)/(total # of outcomes), (assuming outcomes are equally likely), which is intuitive especially in card and dice games.
# of "successful" outcomes = 2 (either roll a 5 or 6)
# of total outcomes = 6 (1,2,...,6)
Probability = 2/6 = 1/3
