The distance from home to work is 25 mi, and the total time for the trip was 2 hours. Hpw far did the motorcycle go before it broke down? The textbook provides the answer 15 miles. I cannot figure out how they reached this answer. Can you help me?

t = d / r ___ the total time is 2 hr and the total distance is 25 mi

2 = (x / 45) + [(25 - x) / 6]

multiplying by 90 (LCD) ___ 180 = 2x + 375 - 15x

-195 = -13x
