Using the theorem "The sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 180 degrees", we can conclude that congruentangle1 + congruentangle2 + someotherangle = 180
Since the two angles are congruent in measure, we can combine like terms, ill name the congruent angles x and the other angle y.
2x + y = 180
By substitution:
2(41) + y = 180
82 + y = 180
y = 98 degrees
