b is the y-intercept {which is where the line crosses the y-axis}
y = 3x - 4
To graph:
- put a point on -4 on the y-axis
- from there move up 3 and to the right 1 and put another point {rise over run is 3/1}
- draw a line through the two points}
y = -3x + 2
To graph:
- put a point on 2 on the y-axis
- from there, move down 3 and to the right 1 and put another point (rise over run is -3/1}
- draw a line through the two points
