You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(12 4/7+2 3/14)-2 6/14

12 4/7 is a mixed fraction. You have to convert it to an improper fraction
%28%2812%2A7%29%2B4%29%2F7

88%2F7
2 3 /14
%282%2A14%29%2B3%29%2F14
31%2F14

2 6/14
%28%282%2A14%29%2B6%29%2F14
34%2F14

%2888%2F7%29%2B%2831%2F14%29-+%2834%2F14%29
The denominator of the first fraction is 7 to make it 14 you have to multiply by 2
so multiply the numerator & denominator by 2
%2888%2A2%29%2F%282%2A7%29%29%2B%2831%2F14%29-+%2834%2F14%29
%28176%29%2F%2814%29%29%2B%2831%2F14%29-+%2834%2F14%29
Since the denominators are same
you can add up the numerators to get
%28176%2B31%2B34%29%2F14
241%2F14
