45%28t%2Fcross%289%29-t%2Fcross%2815%29%29=45%281%2Fcross%289%29%29 Multiply both sides by the LCD 45 to clear any fractions.


5t-3t=5 Distribute and multiply.


2t=5 Combine like terms on the left side.


t=%285%29%2F%282%29 Divide both sides by 2 to isolate t.
