5X+Y =3.....................2
MULTIPLY EQN.2 WITH 2
10X+2Y=6.......................3
SUBTRACT FROM EQN.1
10X+Y-10X-Y=7-6
0=1
HENCE THE EQNS. ARE INCONSISTENT .
THERE IS NO SOLUTION
