Question 582895: Solve log5x+log10=0. Round to the nearest hundredth if necessary.
This what I have tired:
log5(x+2)=0
10^log5(x+2)= 10^0
5x+10=1
I wasn't sure what to do next and if I was doing the problem correctly.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
log5x+log10=0
log5x(10)=0
log50x=0
50x=10^0
50x=1
x = 1/50
x = 0.02
