You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the volume of a pointed object (cone or pyramid) is ___ 1/3 * (area of base) * height

the area of a circular base (for a cone) is ___ pi * (radius)^2

so for this cone ___ v = (1/3) * pi * 7^2 * 9

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The volume of a cone is:
V+=+%281%2F3%29%28pi%29%2Ar%5E2%2Ah Substitute r+=+7 and h+=+9
V+=+%281%2F3%29%28pi%29%2A7%5E2%2A9
V+=+%281%2F3%29%28pi%29%2A49%2A9
V+=+%28441%2F3%29%28pi%29
V+=+147%28pi%29
If you need a numerical answer, use pi+=+3.14 as an approximation.
V+=+147%283.14%29
V+=+461.58
