You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2 cars travels from same point along parallel lanes of highway for a distance of 10miles.
When car 1 travels at a speed of 60 mph to reach end and how much further will car 2 have to travel if it's traveling at 48mph
:
"How far from behind is car 2, when car 1 reaches 10 mi", is how I understand this
:
Find the time it takes car 1 to travel 10 mi
10%2F60 = 1%2F6 hr
How far will car 2 travel in that time
1%2F6 * 48 = 8 mi
car 2 is 10 - 8 = 2 mi behind when car 1 travels 10 mi
