     AC = 10, BC = 24, AB = 26



     Draw altitude CD:


 

       ᐃABC ∼ ᐃACD ∼ ᐃCBD

Therefore 

           CD%2FAC = BC%2FAB

           CD%2F10 = 24%2F26

        26·CD = 24·10

        26·CD = 240

           CD = 240%2F26

           CD = 120%2F13 or about 9.231
